About AME at NCAAS

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course is approved by Director General of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Eligibility for the course is 10+2 pass with PCM or Diploma in aeronautical / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics. This is a practical oriented training. 40 to 50% of total training is practicals. This course produces maintenance certifying engineers for aeroplanes and helicopters. This is a prestigious profession in which they certify the fitness of aeroplanes before and after the flight. They also carry out the maintenance of aeroplanes and their repair, overhaul, modification, inspection, rectification etc. The job opportunities are spread across Domestic Airlines, Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO), Aircraft Manufacturing, Aircraft Technical publication companies, Tourism using Helicopters and International Airlines.
